Introduction to the IPD Department:
To facilitate and accelerate the provision of services and to increase patient satisfaction among visitors from different countries, the International Patients Department (IPD) has been established on Floor +1 of this center.
The IPD team consists of Dr. Seyyedeh Golnaz Ziaei, the department’s physician, and Ms. Mona Nasereddin, the IPD expert. They handle all processes for international patients—from the moment of arrival, through doctor coordination, appointment scheduling, translation, and all necessary medical and administrative procedures.
Medical Services Provided:

Outpatient: All preventive, check-up, diagnostic, paraclinical, and therapeutic services provided within less than six hours.

Inpatient: All services requiring hospitalization for more than six hours.
Admission of International Patients:
Upon arrival at the hospital, international patients are directed to the International Patients Admission Section located on Floor +1. With translators available, patients face no difficulty during the admission process.
If the patient is visiting the hospital for the first time, their personal information is registered in the system based on their passport details. For returning patients, their previous records are reviewed and updated if necessary.

Previous medical records such as radiology reports, ultrasounds, CT scans, MRIs, and laboratory results to help the physician review the patient’s prior medical history and treatment progress before arriving in Iran.
Patients who coordinate their visit in advance with the Medical Tourism Unit will have their names, details, and attending physician recorded in the international patient list. Upon arrival and completion of admission, they will meet their doctor and, after consultation, if treatment is required, coordination with the relevant departments will be arranged promptly so that treatment can begin without delay.
For patients who arrive without prior coordination, the International Patients Department will immediately arrange for a doctor’s consultation and initiate the necessary treatment process.
During hospitalization, the medical tourism officer visits the patient daily to ensure their comfort and well-being. If the patient requires anything specific, it will be communicated through the officer. The officer also assists with translation between the patient, nurses, and doctors when needed, ensuring a smooth treatment experience for international patients.
